Dr. Bittinger grew up in Springboro, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Afterwards, he remained a Buckeye, graduating with his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2025.
As he progressed through Ohio State’s optometry program, he got the opportunity to train in a number of different settings that included the Salisbury, North Carolina VA Health Center, Columbus Laser and Cataract Center, and Miamisburg Vision Care. Through his experience at each location, he gained experience in dry eye, vision therapy, specialty contact lens fitting, post-operative cataract care, and managing ocular disease such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. Dr. Bittinger looks forward to providing comprehensive eye care to the Dayton and Cincinnati communities.
In his free time, Dr. Bittinger enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with his family, and playing pickleball. A lifelong sports fan, you can find him cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and his beloved Buckeyes.
