Meet the Doctors

Dr. Phillip E. Apfel
Dr. Apfel is the director of Oakley Square Eye Associates. He received his doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1983. He is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association and the Cincinnati Optometric Association. Dr. Apfel is also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He specializes in contact lenses; including unusual and difficult fits as well as the medical management of glaucoma and general medical Optometry. He is a co-managing doctor for laser, refractive, and cataract surgery at the Cincinnati Eye Institute and the Midwest Eye Center. He has published several articles regarding video integration in eye care. Dr. Apfel has been on the medical consulting staff of the National Football League Cincinnati Bengals since 1992.

Dr. Becky Little
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Becky Little has joined our practice. She brings a multitude of knowledge and training that will be a benefit to all of her patients. Dr. Little received her undergraduate degree from Miami University and her doctorate from the Ohio State University College of Optometry. She is one of a select few that completed an Ocular Disease Residency program at the Columbus and Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Clinic. Although she enjoys lecturing on ocular disease, she is excited to be in private practice. She is currently a member of the Ohio Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, the Ohio State University Alumni Association, and the Ohio State University College of Optometry Alumni Association. Dr Little specializes in general medical optometry and contact lenses, with an emphasis on the treatment and management of ocular disease. With Dr. Little on staff, we now have expanded office hours with evening appointments available.
